DCEU producer Peter Safran says James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is a “total reboot” of the franchise and not really a sequel to David Ayer’s movie. Ayer’s Suicide Squad was the third entry in DC’s cinematic universe (following Man of Steel and Batman V Superman), but the first to focus on lesser-known comic book characters, with the exception of Harley Quinn. The DCEU movie went on to become a commercial success despite the relative obscurity of its source material, taking in $747 million at the global box office against a $175 million budget....

Apple has sent out an email to developers (via iMore) informing them that iTunes Connect will once again be closed for the holidays. During that time, no new apps or updates will be released, app prices won’t be able to be changed, Newsstand updates won’t be processed, and any price changes scheduled for that week will result in the app becoming completely unavailable until the 27th. Even statisitics and sales reports for developers will be delayed during that time....

Apple has updated its iTunes Festival app for iOS tonight, the app where users can access live streamed content from Apple’s month long musical festival held during September. While Apple has now removed the video content that was only available for a limited time, it has added a number of live EPs from festival performers. It’s also added the content to the iTunes Festival app on Apple TV and started promoting the EPs in iTunes on the Mac....

Stephen King certainly nailed it when he created the villain of Pennywise the dancing clown as his main villain in the colossal novel IT.
