Jay Z Quietly Removes Catalog From Apple Music And Spotify As Tidal Continues Fight For Exclusives

Both Spotify and Apple Music users today have noticed that albums from hip-hop artist Jay-Z, who happens to be owner of competing music streaming service Tidal, have been removed from the services. It appears that most of the artist’s original albums have been removed while some content where he is a featured artist or collaborator, and perhaps not the sole owner of the content, remains available for streaming. Tidal representatives have not officially announced the move, but Spotify’s support team is confirming the removal to users of the service on social media (via MacRumors)....

Jazz Jennings Is Skipping College For A Year To Recenter

I Am Jazz’s Jazz Jennings is skipping college for a year to “recenter.” It is quite normal for most young adults to take a year off before attending college, but rarely do people pass up a chance at an Ivy League education. Being accepted to an Ivy league school is a very hard feat, but deferring to take a gap year is surely a brave choice. That is exactly what Jazz Jennings chose to do instead of taking classes in the fall semester....

Jessica Chastain Ava Duvernay Slam Game Of Thrones Treatment Of Women

Game of Thrones has once again come under fire regarding its treatment of women, with actor Jessica Chastain and director Ava DuVernay slamming the show over certain plot lines, something which the show is not new to. Chastain and DuVernay are referring to the latest episode “The Last of the Starks”, taking issue with two separate concerns. Following Episode 3 “The Long Night”, fans couldn’t wait to see what was in store for them, and for the characters that survived last week’s epic battle, which saw Arya dispense with the Night King and his dead army once and for all....

It 5 Reasons Why Tim Curry S Pennywise Was Iconic 5 Why Bill Skarsgard S Was Nightmare Fuel

In 1990, Tim Curry became the first actor to portray Pennywise. His portrayal was since regarded as iconic and fittingly terrifying, no matter how badly the It miniseries itself was received. However, in 2017, Andy Muscietti revived Stephen King’s 1986 novel with a movie adaptation. Though Muscietti’s film versions of It are most commonly regarded as being the best, Tim Curry did originally portray the demon clown onscreen, bringing a more human-like quality to the monster....

It Chapter Two Character Posters Past Present Losers Converge

New IT Chapter Two character posters highlight how the Losers have changed in the 27 years since Pennywise menaced the town of Derry in the first film. Based on the Stephen King novel, 2017’s IT proved that killer clowns can be killer box office, grossing over $700 million worldwide. Of course, the first IT only adapted half of King’s voluminous 1986 novel, covering the lives of the Losers’ Club as they first encountered Pennywise the clown as kids in the 1980s (they were ‘50s kids in the original book)....

It S Always Sunny Season 14 Finale Review

Throughout its impressive run, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has never been one to shy away from tackling big issues and ideas as only it can: filtered through the lens of some of the worst people on the planet. That formula has worked for the series for 14 seasons now, and as the latest season prepares for last call, the gang at Paddy’s Pub have a chance to offer their dispiriting takes on such topics as a woman’s right to choose… her own haircut, and, on a lighter note, the utter futility of life and the inevitability of death....

John Wick Chapter 3 Parabellum Has A Matrix Easter Egg

A moment in the newly released John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum trailer is an Easter egg referencing Keanu Reeves’ role in The Matrix. Long before the actor wowed audiences with the innovative gun-fu of the John Wick movies, he established himself as an action icon by appearing in 1990s classics such as Point Break, Speed, and The Matrix. It was in that third one Reeves played arguably his most famous character, Neo, later reprising the part in two sequels....

Itunes Uk Song Chart Topped By A Welsh Folk Song

The iTunes UK song chart is currently topped by a rather unlikely track: a song by a Welsh folk band which was recorded in 1981 and released in 1983… The song is Yma O Hyd by the decidedly non-famous Dafydd Iwan, a song to celebrate the continued existence of Wales and the Welsh language. This achievement is not, as you might imagine, organic. The BBC reports that it was engineered by Welsh language fans coordinating purchases of the track from iTunes....

Iwork Trial Goes Mia Update Coming

We’ve been keeping an eye on this all day. Apple’s iWork trial download went down some time morning (or last night?) and hasn’t returned. Perhaps Apple taking down the iWork trial download may mean that an iWork update is in the cards for tomorrow – or it could just be a blip. As we were first to report, we expect Apple’s iMacs to be updated tomorrow morning with Thunderbolt ports and Sandy Bridge processors....

Jay And Silent Bob Reboot Every Single Cameo

An incredible number of celebrities made cameo appearances throughout Kevin Smith’s latest stoner comedy, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. After an 18-year hiatus from the big screen, the two comedically idiotic characters have come back together for another ludicrous adventure across the Hollywood limelights. Directed and starring Smith as Silent Bob, the film also stars Jason Mewes as the titular Jay, as well as Harley Quinn Smith (the director’s daughter), Aparna Brielle, and Shannon Elizabeth in supporting roles....

Is Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous Coming To Nintendo Switch

Pathfinder: Wrath of The Righteous gives you the most freedom that you are likely to have in an RPG. The developers really did a fantastic job in making the music and quest writing. In addition, this game comes with deep magic and character creation systems. I really like this game in both turn-based and real-time combat. However, that is the reason why users want the Pathfinder: Wrath of The Righteous Nintendo Switch port....

Itc Agrees To Ericsson S Request To Investigate Apple For Alleged Patent Infringement But Iphone Ban Unlikely

Ericsson’s attempt to have the iPhone banned from US sale over a patent dispute moved one step forward yesterday as the ITC agreed to investigate. Ericsson claims that iPhones infringe a number of its patents for fundamental cellphone technologies, including both GSM and LTE. Apple denies any infringement, and says that Ericsson is in any case demanding unreasonable amounts. In an attempt to up the ante, Ericsson called on the U....

James Bond Moonlight Director Wants To Do Moneypenny Spinoff Movie

Moonlight director Barry Jenkins wants to do a James Bond spinoff movie about Moneypenny. The character is a fixture of the 007 franchise, with her significance and input having grown over the years from M’s receptionist, to a more prominent and informative member of MI6 in the recent films. In terms of willingness to change its approach and alter the style of its more traditional elements, the 007 series has never been one to steer clear of new concepts....

Italian Customers Furious At Expensive European Iphone Deal

Just like Canada, Italian iPhone customers are angrily denouncing the deals they’re being offered by Vodafone Italy and Telecom Italia for the iPhone 3G. Italian customers reckon they are being stitched-up by both. Italian users are so angry that they’re expected to pay double what anyone in the US or UK must pay for using an iPhone that they’ve also launched a petition against it. While the campaign hasn’t ignited the same level of international interest as that against the deals on offer from Rogers Wireless in Canada, the petition has still attracted 3,000 signatures inside a week....

Jaws Deleted Scene Showed A Child Being Eaten

A dramatic turn in Jaws sees the shark eat a little boy named Alex Kintner, but in the original version of the scene, the child was devoured onscreen. Thanks to ridiculous B-movies like Sharknado, Sharktopus, and other movies starting with shark, the creature feature genre isn’t exactly in the highlight of its life. Of course, there are still gems like Crawl, and decently fun if underwhelming fare like The Meg, but it doesn’t seem like fans of giant rampaging beasts will ever get something on the level of Jaws again....
