According to a variety of users on Twitter, iTunes Connect is down at the moment. Users report that they are unable to access any aspect of the service. It’s important to note that this is iTunes Connect, not Apple Music Connect. iTunes Connect is used by developers to access information about their apps and other store content. Last year, the service was down for upwards of four days for some.
Furthermore, a handful of users report that they are experiencing issues accessing the App Store and iTunes services on iOS. This issue, however, appears to be rather small in the grand scheme of things, with there only being a few users currently reporting issues.
Somewhat ironically, Apple today launched a new Twitter account dedicated to offering users customer support. We’re here to provide tips, tricks and helpful information when you need it most, and if you have a question, well – we’re here to help with that too,” the bio for the @AppleSupport Twitter account reads. Apple Support on Twitter replied to one user reporting issues, telling them to contact iTunes Connect Support.
Let us know in the comments if you’re having issues accessing any of Apple’s cloud services. The company’s system status page currently does not show any interruptions.
@ecnepsnai We would like to look into this further for you. Please contact iTunes Connect Support at https://t.co/LIrs0dB6kH.
