It was revealed that James Corden, the host of The Late Late Show With James Corden, doesn’t actually drive during his Carpool Karaoke segments. The internet is in a total state of shock from this deceitful new information that has surfaced.
Most American fans will know Corden, the popular British comedian, from watching him host The Late Late Show on CBS. He is most well known for the show’s hit recurring segment, Carpool Karaoke, in which James Corden, invites famous musical guests to sing along to their songs, where it appears that he’s driving them around. Some of the most famous guests who have appeared on the segment include Madonna, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Ariana Grande - just to name a few.
If the British public thought Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family was bad, then Corden just dropped and even bigger bombshell. A Twitter user had posted a video of the comedian filming for a new episode, this time from the side view. The video showed Corden and Justin Bieber hanging out and singing, however, the car that Corden and Beiber were in was being pulled by a truck with Corden not actually driving. The caption of the twitter video reads, “This is why I have trust issues,” as it was finally revealed that Corden had not driven in any of those Carpool Karaoke segments, check out the full post below:
Fans were a bit taken aback by the footage, even asking did his friends really even need a ride or was that fake too. Other social media users joked that it should be called “Carpull” Karaoke instead. But others came to Corden’s defense saying that they had seen him driving for other Carpool Karaoke episodes. Corden had taken to Instagram earlier in the week and hinted that he was working with Bieber as he shared a photo of the two sitting side by side. The pop singer also shared a social media photo that showed him working on a food truck- a nod to his new single coming out. Bieber had also appeared on the famous segment back in 2015 to rave reviews.
Driving through the streets of Los Angeles is no child’s play so it would make sense if at times the comedian and his famous friends need a little help to be on the safe side. Either way, fans are not fussed if there is a truck or no truck all they would really like to see is two stars laughing at one another and enjoying their time together singing.
