Jen Harley calls out MTV, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Cast, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro for abuse, claiming she has been the one tormented. The reality star’s claim to fame has been making the headlines for attacking Ortiz-Magro numerous times in the past year.
The Jersey Shore Family Vacation star recently spent a month in rehab trying to learn to control his depression and alcohol addiction. On the latest episode of the hit MTV show, fans watched as Ortiz-Magro checked himself into a facility hoping the move would help him and his family heal. The couple had made the headlines often for their heated battles which usually ended in Ortiz-Magro bodily harm. Recently the unstable couple has once again called it quits on their relationship. Harley and the reality star share custody of their 17-month-old daughter, Ariana, and have only been communicating to speak about her.
After the current break up, Harley accused Ortiz-Magro of bullying her through social media. Us reported that on Thursday, September 5, Harley shared numerous Instagram stories where she criticized her ex-boyfriend. Harley originally posted a photo of the two with their backs turned to the camera - the woman in the picture obviously was not Harley. She captioned the picture claiming that it’s a common occurrence to see Ortiz-Magro having an arm around another woman. It seems, however, that the picture may just be a set up by Harley to hurt Ortiz-Magro’s reputation, as the woman in the picture was known to be an acquaintance. A source close to the couple said that the Jersey Shore star did not cheat and was very upset that his ex-girlfriend implied that he had. The source continued to say that the mystery woman was there for Ortiz-Magro when his relationship ended with Harley last week.
On August 28, the then-couple attended the MTV Video Music Awards together but Harley refused to walk the red carpet with Ortiz-Magro. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star posted to his social media account before taking to the carpet saying that you have to respect yourself first and learn to walk away from someone who does not show you that same respect. This past July, Ortiz-Magro came clean about their rocky relationship implying everything was okay with his now ex-girlfriend. He said he had personally made some changes to his life and stopped worrying about what others may have wanted from him. He said what he took away from being in rehab was to not continue the same toxic patterns. In Harley’s latest post, she spoke out about how she could not continue to take the abuse from MTV, Ortiz-Magro, and the rest of the cast. She implied that everyone would always apologize for saying the nasty things about her when they knew the rumors not to be true. She went on to say that she can prove that she had been the one bullied not her ex-boyfriend.
True Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans are finding it hard to be swayed from their opinion of Harley as she had previously been arrested for domestic violence against Ortiz-Magro. It is hard for viewers to forget the aftermath of Ortiz-Magro being dragged by Harley’s car. At the end of the day, many fans believe that Harley is just bad news for the once happy reality star and hope, for his sake, that he can work himself out and move on to greener pastures.
