Drama again, as Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans gets a temporary restraining order against husband David Eason. Fans of the hit MTV show had hoped that the mother would come to her senses and leave her erratic husband behind - and that’s exactly what she’s doing.
The unexpected news that the reality couple would be divorcing came on October 31st. The pipe wielder quickly shared with pictures to his Instagram, showing his rings and commenting that he could take them off now. The two married in September of 2017 and since then have had a very tumultuous relationship. Fans can remember that Eason had admitted to killing their family dog, Nugget, after the dog allegedly nipped at their two-year-old daughter Ensley. After spending the last 6 months defending her husband and even losing her job with Teen Mom 2 after backing him, she’s now understanding that this is not a healthy environment for her or her children. In a statement, the mother of three announced that she wanted to leave Eason as she feared for her safety. The hunter is known for his wide range of guns and the hoard of weapons.
Not only has Evans filed for divorce from her husband, Eason, but the reality star has also now taken legal action against him. Only two hours after she shared the news of their split via Instagram Evans filed for a protective order on the evening of October 31st. Us Weekly confirmed that the documents were filed to protect herself and her three children - one of which she shares with Eason. The documents show 11 alleged incidents that involved her hot-headed husband that occurred within the last two years. According to the paperwork, the very first incident happened back on December 12, 2017, and last was only on October 30, 2019.
The reality star accused her husband of verbal and physical abuse which did not come as a surprise to fans who have watched the show. The Teen Mom star also claimed that Eason ransacked her belonging and destroyed her possessions. The court documents also show that she accused him of threatening and killed her beloved dog, Nugget, which he had later admitted to. On November 5th, Eason took to his social media account and claimed that Evans had taken their daughter, Ensley and disappeared. Eason then announced he had no choice but to file a missing person report. Evans did address Eason’s concern by saying that she had to travel out of town on business and included this information in the protective order. She also added that as she was trying to escape the abuse her husband took it upon himself to text message her insensately and threaten her.
The Teen Mom community is relieved that Evans has finally taken it upon herself to leave the unhealthy relationship that so many warned her about. The MTV personality has had a hard time recently thanks to being let go from the hit show as well as her make-up line that failed to sell her eye-brow kits. There is hope that now that she is trimming the fat in her life she will be given a second chance on the hit show.
