Mike Sorrentino was reunited with the cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation after spending time in jail. At last, fans could not be more thrilled to see the whole group back together.
Fans are shocked to think that it was only 10 years ago that the young guidos and guidettes graced the small screen for the first time with their large muscles, puffed hair and orange skin. The group of young, wide-eyed adults was known to party it up at Karma and sit down for Sunday dinners all while having major blowouts which would end as quickly as they began. Now that the cast is all grown up, most with spouses and children at home, the group has starred in the spin-off that is meant to show them at a more mature angle.
The gang is back for a whole new season of The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which is set to air Monday, according to Entertainment Tonight. A new sneak peek of the trailer was released and it showed season 3 as possibly the best one yet, mainly because Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will be returning. This will be the last season where all the roommates will be featured. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi dropped a bomb that she would not return for a fourth season on her podcast It’s Happening with Snooki and Joey. The 32-year-old shared with her fans that she wanted to spend more time with her children and running her business. The opening scene showed Sorrentino being released from prison in Otisville, New York, while Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick and Polizzi wait anxiously for his return.
The trailer itself was a bit soppy. There seemed to be an emotional moment when “MVP” was finally able to do their cheer with Sorrentino himself saying his “probation office isn’t going to like this.” Even though The Situation is back and ready to party the season will not just center around him. Farley had been going through her divorce with Roger Mathews and was shown having the time of her life during her divorce party. The brunette told cameras that these types of parties were a thing as she was given a crown and sash. Polizzi, who was the fan-favorite, is shown partying as well, jokingly saying, “You’re going out at 1 a.m., you have three kids, you’re awesome.”
Even though Polizzi is leaving, fans are calling for the return of Sammi Giancola to replace her. Most of the cast had tried to keep in touch with her but she made it a mission not to return their calls. She had stated early on that she wanted no part of the reboot of their popular show and did not want to be around Ortiz-Magro, as she was in a different period of her life. Fans should not hold their breath for Giancola’s return, but can look forward to many sweet moments with Sorrentino and the rest of the gang.
