Now that Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has come to an end, we’re celebrating Pauly DelVecchio as the MVP of season 3.

A lot happened on this season of Jersey Shore. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino served his time in prison; Ronnie Oritz-Magro went to rehab for about a month; Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Cortese both welcomed baby boys into the world. And, though DelVecchio may have taken a back seat this season, that’s why we love him. DelVecchio has always been a source of positivity on the Jersey Shore series. From the early days back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey to the many trips the family has taken together, DelVecchio is always down for a good time. That’s why we’re celebrating the man that is DJ Pauly D as the MVP.

He remained the prank war champion

DelVecchio has become known for the pranks he pulls on his roommates. When Jersey Shore: Family Vacation made its debut, he was the first person to orchestrate a prank involving a doll that looked and sounded like Ortiz-Magro’s ex-girlfriend, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

At the end of season 3, the girls plan a trip to Washington, D.C. to attempt to free Mike Sorrentino from jail. Upon their return, DelVecchio orchestrates a fake email from Sorrentino explaining that his sentence has been elongated because of the girls’ trip. Once the girls realized that the email was fake, DelVecchio exclaimed his title as “Prank War Champion!” once again.

He was a constant source of support

DelVecchio appears to be a genuinely good friend. He was the most supportive of Vinny Guadagnino’s stripper residency at Chippendales. We’re talking a decked out scooter so that an injured Guadagnino could get to his Las Vegas suite comfortably. While DelVecchio clearly favors Guadagnino, it’s evident that he loves his entire Jersey Shore family and would do anything for any of them.

DelVecchio is definitely supportive of all of his roommates. During season 3, DelVecchio talked Ortiz-Magro through his often tumultuous relationship with Jen Harley. DelVecchio served as a constant source of good advice for Ortiz-Magro, striving to encourage Ortiz-Magro to make the decision that was best for his daughter, Arianna.

He didn’t get mixed up in the drama

DelVecchio rarely gets mixed up in the drama of it all, sans the one time he snapped at an outsider in a club during the second season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Instead, he’s all about having a good time pretty much all of the time, and this season was no different. DelVecchio was a constant source of joy for the entire Jersey Shore family and we’re looking forward to many more seasons of his goofy antics. After all, you can’t have an MVP (the name Sorrentino, Guadagnino, and DelVecchio have given themselves) without Pauly D.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will return in 2020.
