Jersey Shore’s Family Vacation Ronnie Ortiz-Magro said he wants to have more kids right before the arrest. The reality star gushed over the idea of adding siblings for his daughter to play with. It seems like it might not be the case anymore.
Ronnie and Jen Harley met back in 2017 and had their daughter in April of 2018. The couple has been known to break up one day and reunite the next. The most recent break up was in early September when Ronnie claimed that he needed to do what was right and healthy for him, saying Jen was not good for his new lifestyle. This is not the first time things have become physical between the two, as Jen was previously charged for assault for attacking Ronnie in a parking lot in Secaucus, New Jersey. The reality star had just been released from a rehab facility that was supposed to teach him how to handle his depression and alcohol intake.
Only hours before the reality star was arrested he told Us Weekly that he would like to have more children and make his 18-month-old daughter a big sister. In his exclusive, he said he was sure he would have more kids one day - but as for now, he would like to spoil his only daughter. The MTV personality went on to say that his daughter does have an older brother thanks to a previous relationship Harley had. Ronnie had recently voiced that he was committed to making his relationship with Harley work as he wanted to be a family unit for his daughter’s sake.
On October 4th, the news broke that Ronnie was arrested in Los Angeles for felony domestic violence against Jen and kidnapping. The news was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department statement which read that officers responded to a battery in progress at around 2:40 in the morning. Ronnie had been staying at an Airbnb when he allegedly chased Jen with a knife and assaulted her. The police claimed that Ronnie was uncooperative, and they were forced to use a taser on him to get him to calm down.
While the star has said on more than one occasion that his daughter was the driving force to enter rehab and better himself fans are currently left wondering if the rehab taught him anything. On the most recent episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans watched as a composed Ronnie spoke honestly with his roommates about his life with Harley and how he knows he needs to leave her. Everything was looking up for the famed star, new teeth, no bruises, and having his roommates there to support him. Now, once again, it just seems like Ronnie has gotten back on this merry-go-round relationship and does not know how to end the ride.
