Jersey Shore star Pauly D DelVecchio has pleaded with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to end his relationship with his girlfriend. During the past two seasons of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans have watched Ronnie’s relationship go from bad to worse.

The question on everyone’s mind from the latest episode is whether Ronnie will make it to Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s wedding. Luckily, Ronnie did show up in the nick of time to learn the groomsman dance and eat at the rehearsal dinner. The most recent episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation had viewers watching as Ronnie went on a verbal rampage or ‘Ronpage’ as the roommates like to say, toward his housemates.

Ronnie opened up to Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino, expressing that he felt as if he was the only one “being himself;” he couldn’t understand why he was always at the butt of everyone’s jokes. The episode showed flashbacks of both the housemates and Ronnie making fun of the ridiculous situations he had gotten himself into. Vinny then tried to explain that they thought it was OK to joke because Ronnie makes self-deprecating jokes about himself, too.

Both roommates’ jaws hit the floor when Ronnie continued to say he didn’t feel connected to the roommates anymore, adding that it bothered him that he couldn’t be open with them about his girlfriend, Jen Harley, abusing him in Secaucus and having to make up lies that he had been jumped. Pauly D completely disagreed, saying that he was not expecting this conversation and that Ronnie was trying to guilt-trip the family instead of taking responsibility. Vinny tried explaining that everyone had reached out at one point to help him, but Ronnie never followed through with their plans.

The roommates learned that Ronnie had yet another run-in with his girlfriend before the wedding because Ronnie showed up sporting a black eye, scrapes on his face, and missing teeth. During their talk, Pauly D finally addressed what every viewer had been thinking: that Ronnie’s current relationship is physically abusive. Pauly D continued to say, “You’re in a toxic relationship, I can’t respect that. There’s nothing I can do to make you stop. That’s not love. That’s sick. You’re physically getting your ass kicked.”

It is hard to say whether Pauly’s pleading with Ronnie to end his unhealthy relationship will influence their friendship. The roommates are over dealing with the drama that comes along with Ronnie, including his Instagram posts. Hopefully, as the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation continues, fans will be able to see Ronnie move forward in taking steps to take care of himself.
