Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was tased and arrested for domestic violence against his girlfriend Jen Harley. The two are at it once again, making the headlines for their out-of-this-world fighting.
It seemed that the roommates had every reason to worry about Ronnie as he ventured through a dark and often hostile relationship. This is not the first time things have become physical between the two, as Jen was previously charged for assault after dragging Ronnie with her car. Ronnie had just been released from a rehab stint to help him handle his depression and alcohol intake. Unfortunately, his life post-rehab has not been smooth sailing.
According to TMZ, Ronnie was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday, October 4 for felony domestic violence against Jen. The news was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department statement, which read that officers responded to a battery in progress at around 2:40 in the morning. The police determined that Ronnie and Jen were involved in some kind of altercation that turned physical. The police then claimed that Ronnie was uncooperative, and they were forced to use minor force, tasing him. The LAPD did confirm that there was a child on the scene, but she was not harmed.
Ronnie had been staying at an Airbnb when he allegedly chased Jen with a knife and assaulted her. Hours earlier, the pair were seen kissing and smiling at his CBD launch party in West Hollywood. Ronnie had recently spoken out that he was committed to making his relationship with Jen work for the sake of his daughter, Ariana. He wanted to be the best father he could be, and he believed he needed Jen to achieve that. But two weeks earlier, the two confirmed that they had split around Sept 5, with Jen having accused Ronnie of cheating on her with another woman.
Fans have been worried about Ronnie for some time now, and it would seem that things are not going well for the reality TV star. On the most recent episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans watched as Jen met with JWoww at the strip club and lied about Ronnie straight to her face. When Ronnie was confronted by his roommates, he kept his composure, explaining that Jen just wanted to hurt him. No one is quite sure what or who to believe in the never-ending saga of their unhealthy love story. The only thing that everyone agrees on is something has to change for the MTV personality - and quick.
