Jersey Shore Family Vacation’s Vinny Guadagnino is going to be releasing his own keto cookbook. However, many doctors are skeptical of the diet and believe it is a fad like many before it.
Guadagnino found fame as one of the original cast members of Jersey Shore, appearing on all six seasons as one of the eight housemates. In 2019, Guadagnino starred in A Double Shot at Love with his close friend, DJ Pauly ‘D’ DelVecchio, where the two tried to find soulmates together. Most recently, the reality star had been asked to host and star in a residency in Las Vegas at the famous Chippendales as a guest performer. After losing 50 pounds by following the ketogenic diet, Guadagnino decided to become an advocate for the diet and was featured numerous times in Men’s Health Magazine, giving tips, advice, and guidance about the diet.
The self-proclaimed “keto Guido” announced that he will soon be bringing a cookbook to the market on Twitter. The cookbook, appropriately titled, The Keto Guido Cookbook, will be based on the ketogenic diet and is set to be released on September 24. Guadagnino revealed a picture of the cover of his new book, which shows him standing in his kitchen beside a table covered with vegetables. Check out the image below:
The Jersey Shore star was dubbed the “keto guido” while filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation by his roommates who watched him stick to his low-carb, high-fat diet. According to the strict dieter, the keto diet has completely changed his life; he credited the diet for having helped him keep the excess weight off and live a healthier life. The cookbook will provide over one hundred recipes and meal plans that readers can easily follow, along with some personal anecdotes from the reality star.
The cookbook is available for pre-order and will also have advice from a trained wellness coach, Karissa Long. Guadagnino is not a stranger to writing books, as he previously released a biography in 2012 about his struggle with anxiety, titled, Control the Crazy: My Plan to Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama, and Maintain Inner Cool. It didn’t climb very high on the New York Times Best Sellers list, but it still proved he’s no stranger to the world of publishing. Plus, longtime Jersey Shore fans will likely want it just for his affiliation alone.
