Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker star John Boyega does an interview with himself in a hilarious new video clip. Before joining the Star Wars universe with 2015’s The Force Awakens, Boyega made an early impression in the hyper-kinetic sci-fi action film Attack the Block. Since heading to the galaxy far, far away as former Stormtrooper Finn, Boyega has built up his resume with appearances in everything from Kathryn Bigelow’s drama Detroit to the sci-fi sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising to the animated mini-series Watership Down.

But of course, audiences primarily know Boyega as Finn, who returns for this year’s epic Star Wars saga-capper The Rise of Skywalker. With spoilers being kept under wraps, fans will just have to see the movie to find out how Finn’s arc resolves after the twists and turns of his story, which began in Force Awakens when he escaped the First Order and joined Rey in leaving Jakku on the Millennium Falcon, ultimately finding a mentor in Han Solo and throwing in with the Resistance. The Last Jedi of course saw Finn departing from his new friends to join Rose Tico on a side mission to Canto Bight, a storytelling move that many did not appreciate.

Obviously, a big part of being in Star Wars is doing press, which Boyega has been grinding through along with everyone else in the Rise of Skywalker cast. Recently though, Boyega took a break from the normal junket interviews to participate in a unique one-on-one…with himself. See the video clip of Boyega’s amusing self-interview in the space below:

Among the revelations to come out of Boyega’s interview with himself: he has a bed that cost him five million pounds, he spends most of the day shopping, he would rather poop every time he sits than pee every time he stands and he’d rather live in Buckingham Palace than the White House. Finally, Boyega asks himself the most important question of all: “Would you rather make out with Baby Yoda or an Ewok?” Boyega replies with the only sensible answer: he would rather make out with Baby Yoda because he doesn’t like getting hair in his mouth when he’s kissing.

Obviously, the interview is very light-hearted and silly, which is well in keeping with Boyega’s whole persona as a star. Of all the Star Wars cast members, Boyega seems to have the most fun just being in Star Wars (which doesn’t mean he doesn’t find his way into controversy from time to time, as when he recently apologized for seeming to criticize his co-star Kelly Marie Tran). With all the negativity that has built up around Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, particularly in the wake of the movie’s poor reviews, it’s perhaps important to remember that at the end of the day Star Wars is supposed to be fun, and Boyega definitely seems to get that part of it.
