Keanu Reeves As John Wick
Keanu Reeves’ John Wick seeks vengeance after his car is stolen and his dog is killed by gangsters. The John Wick films are based on a code of honor, and Reeves’ character occasionally breaks the rules; an eye for an eye. With a feature film career that spans nearly 35 years, Reeves is best known for starring as Neo aka The One in The Matrix trilogy, as well as in movies such as Bill & Ted, Speed, Point Break, and more. In 2019, Reeves also voiced Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4, and will revisit his past hits in 2020’s Bill & Ted Face the Music and 2021’s The Matrix 4.
Halle Berry As Sofia
In John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, Halle Berry stars as Reeves’ longtime assassin friend, Sofia. Before the script was written, she demanded to be in the film. Berry previously earned a Best Actress Oscar for Monster’s Ball, and starred as Ororo Munroe/Storm in the original X-Men movies. She’s also appeared in movies like The Flinstones, Perfect Stranger, and Die Another Day, as well as starred in the CBS series Extant.
Where You Might Have Seen John Wick 3’s Supporting Cast
Laurence Fishburne as the Bowery King: Back in 1979, Fishburne delivered a breakthrough performance in the war classic Apocalypse Now, and has since maintained a steady film career, becoming most well-known for playing Morpheus in The Matrix trilogy. Recently, he’s appeared as Bill Foster in the MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, and he also starred as Perry White in the DCEU. In John Wick 3, Fishburne reprises his role as the Bowery King from John Wick: Chapter 2. He currently co-stars on the ABC sitcom Black-ish.
Mark Dacascos as Zero: In John Wick 3, Mark Dacascos makes his John Wick franchise debut as an assassin. Given his martial arts background, he’s a popular character actor and once starred in the 1995 franchise film Redemption: Kickboxer 5. He’s also a regular on TV, recurring on Agents of SHIELD and Hawaii Five-0.
Asia Kate Dillon as the Adjudicator: In John Wick 3, Dillon plays a member of the High Table. They got their acting break by starring in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, and since 2017, they’ve portrayed the business wunderkind Taylor Mason on Showtime’s Billions.
Who Else Is In John Wick 3?
Ian McShane as Winston: As the owner of the Continental Hotel, McShane plays the man responsible for blacklisting John Wick from the safe zone. McShane recently played Trevor Bruttenholm in Hellboy and has been on television since 1964. On the HBO series Deadwood, he starred as Al Swearengen, and reprized his role in the recent Deadwood movie. He also plays Mr. Wednesday on Starz’s American Gods series.
Anjelica Huston as the Director: Huston makes her franchise debut as the director of an assassin training academy. She’s the daughter of iconic Hollywood director John Huston, and is well known for portraying Morticia Adams in The Addams Family; she’s also starred in numerous roles in Wes Anderson films.
Jason Mantzoukas as Tick Tock Man: Mantzoukas makes his franchise debut as an assassin in John Wick: Chapter 3. He previously portrayed Rafi on the fantasy football-themed series The League, and he voices numerous characters on the Netflix series Big Mouth. Mantzoukas also earned raves for playing Derek on The Good Place.
Robin Lord Taylor as the Administrator: Robin Lord Taylor portrays a High Table announcer in John Wick: Chapter 3, thus marking his franchise debut. He played Sam in a few episodes of The Walking Dead, but is most well known for portraying Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, on FOX’s Gotham.
Saïd Taghmaoui as The Elder: Taghmaoui portrays the Elder, the person above the High Table in John Wick: Chapter 3. Taghmaoui has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows over the years, such as Hidalgo, LOST, and Touch, but his career was boosted by starring in Wonder Woman as Sameer.
Jerome Flynn as Berrada: Flynn plays Berrada, an acquaintance of Sophia’s who knows the Elder’s location. Flynn has appeared in several TV shows since the 1980s, but he’s known worldwide for portraying Bronn on Game of Thrones, through all eight seasons. He also appeared in the Black Mirror episode “Shut Up and Dance.”
Randall Duk Kim as the Doctor: Kim briefly appears as the Doctor who treats John Wick’s knife wound. Kim’s inclusion in John Wick: Chapter 3 continues The Matrix connections the franchise has, since he starred as The Keymaker in The Matrix Reloaded.
Boban Marjanovic as Ernest: Marjanovic stars as Ernest, the first assassin to attack John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 3. Although he has some onscreen credits, Marjanovic is an NBA player, a center for the Philadelphia 76ers.
