Executives from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks could face jail in Australia if they fail to promptly remove violent material from their platforms. The Australian parliament passed new legislation in the wake of live-streamed footage from the terrorist attack in Christchurch … The Guardian reports that the new law could give social networks as little as one hour to remove material after notification. Failure to comply would leave responsible executives facing a maximum sentence of three years in jail, while the companies would face a maximum fine of AUS$2....

Netflix confirms the Jessica Jones season 3 release date will be in early June, though the exact date is not yet known.
